Knox follows his own path

by Neil McDonald

Though Knox could conceivably have played all the instruments himself, he said he wanted to pull in a number of his musical friends to help put the album together.

"I would always have friends come by," he said, "because I find it's really important to play music with people even when you're recording, if you can. So I was lucky enough to have Andrew Scott from Sloan come down and play on the whole second half of the album, basically, and a couple of the other songs, too. And my friend Darcy Yates who's in a band called Flash Lightnin' played some bass on it here and there and the Zeus guys did some harmonies, too, because we'd always be overlapping in the studio."
